springish days.

Yesterday was my favorite. Spring seems to have finally arrived in our neck of the woods, and we enjoyed it royally. Walks to the park, going barefoot in the grass, reubens and rootbeer floats for lunch with barbecue burgers and broccoli slaw for dinner, blowing bubbles in the backyard, and windows open to the smell of spring. Not to mention I'm on break this week, so the warm weather makes it even better. What's your plan for this week? x

This is my friend Paola, otherwise known as Pidge. She's awesome and loves Jesus and will probably end up starting her own clothing line or something fun like that. We live about four hours apart from each other, in different states to boot, so I'm so crazy glad I got to spend several hours chatting and laughing with her on Saturday. And making photos, too. Love you, Paola! x

Caleb and his music.

This boy wants to learn how to play the guitar. When he was little, he'd stand at the piano, reaching up on his tip-toes trying to touch the keys, just to listen to my mom play. He was born with music in his ears, songs in his fingers, and a heart that is open. I can't wait to see where he goes. I love his heart, his toughness, his funny sayings, his smile, and mostly, him.
